CICS Northtown Academy Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month
CICS Northtown Academy kicked off their Hispanic Heritage Month celebration with an amazing collaboration between students, faculty, and staff! The assembly was organized by their very own Spanish Teacher, Ms. Tucker, and aided by the student group, Pumas Internacional. During the festivities everyone was able to participate in a salsa competition, enjoy professional folklore dancers and a performance from their Latin Dance Club, and more!
This momentous occasion was also special because it afforded Northtown Academy the opportunity to have their first assembly since the start of the pandemic, what a way to come back together!
