Remote learning to continue for remainder of school year
Dear CICS families,
In alignment with Governor Pritzker’s announcement earlier today, CICS will continue with remote learning for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year and school buildings will remain closed. In agreement with the Governor and public health officials, we believe this is in the best interest of the overall health and safety of our students, families, staff and the communities in which we serve and live.
The entire CICS team remains committed to supporting our students and their families in any way we can, and closure of buildings in no way affects that commitment. We will continue to distribute meals through the school year and devices to those who need them. We have been so proud of how our students and teachers have worked together to completely reimagine the learning experience and I look forward to seeing everything we can accomplish together over the additional weeks of remote learning.

We recognize that this is a difficult time for all of us, so thank you for your continued commitment to your student’s learning under these extraordinary circumstances. We will continue to be in touch to share available local resources and keep you up to date on the latest developments.
