Luis Sanchez

Director of Communications and Public Affairs 

As the Director of Communications and Public Affairs, Luis Sanchez plans and directs strategic external and internal communications for the Chicago International Charter School network in support of city and state policy goals. He is also responsible for media responses, employee communications, and higlighting CICS's work using a variety of traditional and digital media platforms.

Luis is a native Chicagoan who has spent over a decade working in the U.S. government in Washington, DC, was a Presidential Management Fellow and is currently writing a book on policy and public service. He enjoys traveling the world and finding new restaurants in the local area.
