Danielle McBride

Danielle McBride is CICS’ Director of Curriculum and Assessment - STEM, working to design and implement a strategic and cohesive curriculum and assessment strategy across Grades K-12. In this role, she is focused on building knowledge and skills in the math and science standards, backwards-design and use of high-quality curricula, and setting a positive, student-centered professional culture.

Over the past 15 years, Danielle has operated in many role with education and educational leadership, including grade-level and department chair, building the KIPP Chicago’s math curriculum and implementation strategy, instructional coaching, serving as interim school leader while maintaining a full-time teaching position, and most proudly leading her middle school math students on Chicago’s West Side to set regional and national records for growth and achievement on the NWEA MAP Math Growth Test.

In her spare time, Danielle enjoys spending time with friends and family, live music, being outdoors, and reading.
