As Facilities Administrative Assistant, Lydy Vega is responsible for time and payroll submission for the CICS custodial team as well as supporting the CICS Network Office. She is the point of contact for all invocies with vendors. Lydy moved to Chicago from Puerto Rico right after high school and fell in love with the city. It has been home ever since. She worked for five years as a Building Custodian in the John C. Kluczynski Federal Building and while working there, she was given the opportunity to become an Administrative Support Specialist for the Department of Homeland Security – Federal Protective Service – Region 5, composed of six states. After almost two years of successfully supporting Region 5 and its staff, Lydy was promoted to Budget Support Clerk. When not working, she loves to go to concerts, watch movies and try out new restaurants throughout the city.
