Why do you work at CICS? Pelin is deeply committed to equity and access to education. As a first-generation American and the child of immigrant parents, she has a deep appreciation for the transformative power of education and how it can positively impact communities. After many years in higher education, she wanted to join an organization in the K-12 space that provided a platform imbued with the pursuit of educational equity and social justice and moved to Chicago for CICS.
