Skyler Adams

Director of Student Recruitment and Enrollment 

As the CICS Director of Student Recruitment and Enrollment, Skyler Adams leads strategic efforts related to recruitment and enrollment for the Chicago International Charter School network. Skyler is passionate about educational access and feels that all families, regardless of circumstance, should have agency and choice when it comes to their student’s education. Prior to joining CICS, Skyler worked in university enrollment management for over a decade and still supports college access organizations in the Chicagoland area. 

Skyler lives in the Northside of Chicago with his wife, Rocio, and faithful furry companion, Melo Eldrick Adams. Skyler is a musician, runner, and pro-wrestling super fan and loves to explore his city and the world.

Why do you work at CICS?:  Skyler believes that education is essential for economic mobility, and truly closing the wealth gap. CICS is doing the work of providing educational choice and access to Black and Brown communities all across Chicago; this is an organization actively pursuing solutions to inequities, and Skyler is honored to be part of that mission.
