First Generation College Student Soars at CICS Longwood

Meet Ikechukwu Nwokej A.K.A. Ike!
 
Ike is one of our top scholars at CICS Longwood High School and is set to attend a 4-year university next year as a 1st generation college student! Ike aspires to be a forensic scientist and has attended Longwood since his Junior year. In preparation for the next step in his academic career, he has racked up quite a few awards and acceptances:
 
 
Ike has received $720,000, and counting, in scholarship money!
 
Ike is currently involved in the National Honor Society, Art Club, 2023 Senior Committee, Student Council Secretary, & Student Government Secretary
 
Ike has been accepted to Alma College, Clark-Atlanta, Dominican University, Elmhurst University, Illinois State University, Illinois Wesleyan University, Johnson and Wells, Morgan State University, Loyola-Chicago University, Northern Illinois University, Olive Harvey, Penn State, University of Alabama, University of Maryland - Eastern Shores, and the University of the Pacific.
 
It's safe to say that Ike has tapped into his superpowers and we can't wait to see him soar into his future!
